Just got the rear shock back from being rebuilt. I found it losing its oil a few weeks ago.. Such a different bike now- Unreal.
The guy that rebuilt it said that nitrogen pressure in the shock was
around 3 bar- it should of been ~20 bar. While they had the shock apart I
had them remove some bushings to eek out a little more height. Between
that, and the replaced gas pressure in the shock- the bike’s now
sitting about 4+ inches taller in the back. Big difference. Steering’s a
lot sharper too— Love it.
And since it was almost 80 degrees yesterday(!!!), took it for a quick lap up in the hills before sundown.. Joy!
Also added a sweet new sticker too- so better suspension and +5 horsepower.

For some reason stance and bike in the same phrase make me contemplate what “altered camber” would look like on a bike. The mind reels.

That’s such a cool bike, glad you got to enjoy it yesterday. Are you getting snow yet today?

I thought I had some pics of when the shock was out, and the bike was just resting on the rear wheel... totes lowrider.

I’m hoping for this afternoon. Currently it’s ever so slightly spitting rain.

Still not dumping hard yet here but we’re up to an inch knee grass and slush snow on the roads.
